What does girlhood mean to you and how does it show up in your art?

Would little Mia be proud of where you are now? 

Little Mia would be absolutely beside herself with where I am now. Being an artist and a surfer were always two big dreams I had growing up that seemed unattainable. I never imagined my life evolving like this and now it’s my reality!

What brings you comfort in your space of everyday life and your work 

Immersing myself in nature definitely brings me the most comfort in my everyday life! Surfing, and being in the sun and salt water is my saviour. This connection also extends to intertwine with personal reflection and is usually the main source of creative inspiration within my work, mixing the internal and external world.

If your art could share a message to all the chicks what message would you want it to share ?

You are the creator of your own reality. Find what speaks to you and run with it unapologetically! And don’t forget to dive deep and feel all the ups and downs as you go, they are all different types of fuel.
